The base is filled with water but the wheels that are on the bottom are useless as they do not even touch the ground

We can get extreme winds here in socal when the santa anas blow and one night we forgot to put our umbrella down and the winds damaged one of the poles under our umbrella but purple leaf came through after we brought it to their attention by shipping us a returned umbrella that looked like it had never been used

I also purchased a 34 by 34 purple leaf watersand base for each i reviewed these on amazon there are minor issues with these

If you purchase the 10 or 11ft umbrella i would purchase the larger base
