I use Stainless dishes for the dogs water and they always end up slimy on the inside when I changed the water. When I use the purifier pods the slime is gone. the bowl just stays cleaner, except when they start dropping food, balls and other toys in the bowl :). I also use the regular pods in my own water pitcher in the fridge. The water tastes better, especially ice cold!  Read Less

I love these filters! I had been using one for 6 months and needed a new one. At this time, I also decided to get one for my pup's water bowl. I wouldn't say my water tastes notably better, but what I do notice is that stagnant water tastes better. My tap water if not drank immediately would not taste good - almost a dusty taste. Now with this filter, no more! The water in my water bottle stays fresh whether it has been in there for a few minutes or a few hours. My dog was a little hesitant of the filter at first, but she quickly got over that. There's no longer any film that builds in her bowl and I feel better knowing she's drinking better water.  Read Less
