I was diagnosed with plantar fascitis and this was recommended by my ortho dr. It prevents the plantar fasciitis from flaring up in my left foot. I have not had any trouble since. Our head for planters f asciitis.

The arch is nowhere near where my arch is. With the red liner, my white socks now have a pink hue on the bottom. These insoles are not anywhere near as comfortable or as arch supporting as the smartfeet insoles.
