It is noisy and the water doesn't even pump that well. It does not make a waterfall sound, only looks pretty. This fountain looks very cute when setup, however all you hear is the loud motor. Packaged very poorly.

Pretty but all i could hear was the motor and absolutely no gurgling sound of the water

When i first set up this fountain i had it on a wood surface and the motor was so loud that i was very disappointed

When i first turned it on the second time there was a noticeable trickling sound and i was trying to decide whether i could live with the pump noise

That was the whole reason i ordered it

We simply pulled off the pump that came with it from the upward flow tube and replaced it with a similar pump that connects to a solar panel
