Pros
This stand is as beautiful as it is sturdy. Wish it was a little heavier for the half umbrella this company sells for it. It needs to weigh about 30 pounds, but it does well enough.
Love the plastic coating, non-maring. The embossed floral design is a nice touch.
It takes a small funnel to fill and takes some time. My balance is now my oasis. Very easy to assemble.
It's withstood some very windy rain storms, while the umbrella was up. It is next to the house and stays in place even during gusty winds. Because it is plastic i’m interested to see how fast it fades in the sun.
Cons
The pole does not stay straight it tilts forward so the half umbrella cannot do what its supposed to do. The construction is relatively cheap and consequently it doesn't do its job. Leans after 2 uses and is not heavy enough to hold up a small umbrell... Read More

I had to punch through a bit of plastic to get the bolt through the bottom in order to attach the umbrella holder tube

I dont expect any as the umbrella is in a very tight location and unlikely to be exposed to wind

If you attach just the bottom half of the umbrella like i did then when it gets full shake it to level out the sand

Play sand you can get for about 6 at home depot or lowes
