Rancid fish oil is extremely unhealthy. It was rancid. Although you will get a few burps from these, it's pretty light and only for a few minutes after taking them.

Some commenters noted that the pill bottle smells awful yes if you stick your nose up it there is a scent but it is fish oil so that is not surprising or concerning
