Pros
The water is fresh without any odor or discoloration. According to the packaging, it takes out 99% of the lead and other stuff that i never knew existed. This is a sign that your water is actually being filtered thru a charcoal filter.
Cons
These filters from mavis hope are counterfeit. Water runs fast and tried everything to snap it in but it wont snap. The pur filter is easy to install and also to replace the cartridge but it doesn't last past one month.
The listing is misleading and self-contradicting. Not happy. Wayyyyy too much for a 12. Don't buy this, get brita or better.

I genuinely tried the best reviewed offbrand filter replacements and they made the water cloudy and disgusting so i bit the bullet and bought the proper ones
