Pros
Water taste/quality is immensely better and i live in an area that sits on a salt bed. Water tastes and smells great. Great tasting water.
It attaches to faucet perfectly! Chrome looks a lot nicer and not as bulky on the tap as black.
Manual is laid out clearly with easy to follow instructions. Switch is very easy to manoeuvre and seeing the status of the filter is handy.
Pur water filter does a much better job than brita. Low profile styling doesn't interfere with the under the counter space. Filter cartridges are more reasonably priced than the brita units.

Update kaz canada replaced the unit under warranty with the chrome version

I was very satisfied using it in my previous address but in my new apartment it wont work because the disc on the tap is fixed

Good product but it does leak out of the main basin for about 30 seconds after the water is turned off because of the way the filter basin is engineered sideways

We now turn the water off and then let the rest drip into the cup before removing the cup from underneath it

You can definitely tell the water is being filtered when you change the filter

Over time the flow slows down gradually so you dont really notice it

Then after changing the filter the flow pumps out a lot more

I change the filter usually around the time the light turns yellow which i feel is after about 22
