Quality
It is in essence a basic web camera so the quality isnt amazing especially at night where the camera doesnt really make much out at all
The microphone that comes with the unit is rubbish also
During the day the quality is good enough but certainly not hd worthy
The sound quality is rather good also compared to streaming via bluetooth

Overall for the price i cant really complain

Boot up time is quite fast lt15 sec
Packaging/appearance
Packaging was basic but did its job in keeping its contents clean and undamaged
All you have to do is pry off the trim unscrew 4 torx screws
Competitiveness
Youll have to google the rest 😜dvr dashcamthere is an option to use the unit as a recorder for a dashcam
It will save to whichever memory slot you tell it to but i already have a dashcam so will not be using this feature
Installing the dvr camera was a doddle

Only 4 stars because i bought the package with the backup camera snanshi waterproof car license plate rear view video backup rearview reverse reversing camera with 7 led night vision and it doesnt fit my car volkswagen polo 5 there is not enough space above the plate to fix it

The internal storage is partitioned to only allow for 1gb system storage for apps etc
