Cons
Hisense roku tv doesn't recognize it as a cec compliant device. After about 1 month of light use, it now outputs an intermittent screeching tone, followed by static and some audio from the tv. Look elsewhere for an spdif/optical to rca solution.

Changed the tv sound settings to pcm and the static went away

The only issue i ran into is if the soundbar is on and i turn on the receiver i get a very unpleasant sound
