Pros

The arm comes with a clamp that needs to be released to adjust height. I used springs from an old plunge router to fit loosely onto the shaft under the drill assembly. It’s a tweak well worth doing if you can get suitable springs.

Cons

The drill stand head would only travel downward for about 2cm at which point it became stuck. The handle which is used to move the the drill head up and down had a fracture in the thread that attaches it to the pivot.

Miles better than other well know competitors that seem to be pretty plastic

I can only assume that no one at proxxon etc has tried using it
