Pros & Cons
Pros
This plastic is a bit pricey costing about four times as much as regular pla. It's quite abrasive stuff and can snag easily, so careful winding of these loose rolls on a spool is a must. No issues with adhesion or warping.
Cons
Lulzbot mini keeps galling up the filament and won't feed past a few layers. Acetone seems to have little or no effect on the clog. Could not be fed through the bowden drive without breaking.
Highlights
Quality
If you are expecting a bright chrome like finish you will be disappointed
If judging on quality alone id give it five
Competitiveness
It prints great on my printrbot sm with e3d v6 hotend and a warmish aluminum bed covered in kapton and aquanet
I had no issues with it in my ultimaker 2
There simply isnt to my knowledge another competitor offering a readilyavailable iron powder blended pla
I will certainly be trying another makerbot with this stuff as the rusting effect on the bot should look great
