The regular setup of this device was not going to work as the small magnet within the plastic casing was not strong enough to reach up over the area of the moulding in question

I first tested the distance i could place these slide them off of each other do not pull i found the correct distance see photo and placed several pieces of scotch tape to secure while i waited overnight to see if it was still working

I got up this morning and thankfully had thought to take a ballpoint pen and mark on each side of magnets on the door at the distance they were actually working before i went to bed
