Bottle holster is lightweight and adjustable. It adjusts quite easily and cinches down tight on the bottle.

It is string, it is not elasticized. The push * don't grip the string for toffee.

Might not fit great on fatter bottles as the bottom webbing is sewed as an overlapping x that will probably not center as well on fatter bottles but worked fine for mine

The one thing i did do is rewire the cordage on the top that secures the bottle under rough use

The factory cordage was ok would hold the bottle fine but not as utilitarian as 550 cord

Beyond that if you want to carry that much or more water most bags like these mine included have a pocket for a bladder system that could be used instead
