It's snug, but in time the padded interior will conform to the horn. Pocket has nice space and the original shoulder strap has nice cushion.
It has an internal hard, wooden shell. This wood shell is surrounded by a durable nylon skin. It protects the horn from the hazards of negotiating school halls.
