Pros & Cons
Pros
If you do many gigs and need to move quickly from venue to venue, you know how important that is. This bag is sturdy but light.
Very well made; durable material and thick padding protects the cello. Doesn't have a lot of padding but a good bag. Nicely padded and very sturdy.
Zippered bow case holds 2 bows and zips into the bow pouch on the front. Nice size pocket on the back is large enough to hold a folder and a music book and also stores the backpack straps. Comes with a luggage tag.
Protec deluxe 4/4/cello bag is a great alternative to more expensive hard cases. I have no problem recommending this case to other cellist, without hesitation. Superb case opens fully for easy removal and entry.
Cons
The bag does not have any foam padding whatsoever. Because the padding is so thin, the bag is pretty flimsy. The padding is just enough to keep it from minor dings for a student grade full size cello.
Other than one for sheet music and one for the bows, theres only 1 other general purpose pocket.
