Filming outdoors wildlife i need to be able to move the camera quickly without first having to unlock the head

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I simply screwed my existing tripods quickrelease plate camera part into the prost base then attached the combined unit to my tripod head as usual as if attaching a camera

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The prost camera mounting plate has a grippy rubber surface that will protect the underside of the camera from scratching and also prevent any slippage of the camera against the mount

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

With the base plate firmly attached to my tripod and the camera plate mounted to the camera i slid the camera into the base plate

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

There is a forward stop screw in the base which prevents the camera from sliding out the front and falling and once you slide the plate about halfway in the rear safety catch kicks in

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

To remove the camera hang onto it rotate the locking lever to loosen the slide then depress the red button at left rear to release the safety catch and just slide the camera towards the rear and out of the base

No directions are included but the unit design is selfexplanatory

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Time will tell how durable the unit is but it seems wellmade and it should provide good service if not abused
