This was referred by my physical therapist. For a workout beginner it works, is 5lbs.
Cons
One ball is drastically larger than the other. I have a pair of 5 lbs they are the same size, not true with the 8lbs. It's very soft and does not do what it's intended to do. Even if it wasn't sticky, it's not very firm.

Quality
Good quality no issues as of yet
They are safe for my son to handle and the tactile stimulation they offer adds an extra sensory dimension
I have bought several weighted supposedly sand ballsthis is the only one that i have bought that is truly soft and filled with sand
I tore my rotator cuff about 6 months ago now and was looking for something similar to what i was using in therapy when i purchased this
Price
I guess if you just fill a ball from the dollar store with sand it could be like 1
Conflicted if it was wise choice for the economic value
