Its not very thick so i wouldnt drag it along the ground but it is thicker than other mattress bags and is protecting our extra mattress from moisture and hopefully pests while stored in the basement

Edit update the mattress we stored in this bag eventually became covered in mold and had to be thrown away

I did not use the adhesive strips they came with instead i used packing tape to make sure they stayed sealed

Once you peel the sticky side off its hard to get a consistent seal without it doubling up on itself

We used strong tape to keep the mice out and ruined the old one
