Franklin 710+ stud finder beats stanley and zircon hands down. Do yourself a favour, don’t buy other stud finders like i did and waste your money on them, invest in your toolbox and buy this first. Franklin.
No dislikes. I love that this is just a stud finder, my last one looked for wiring and plumbing which was really annoying.
It accurately finds wood and metal studs through 1/2 and 5/8 drywall. Able to locate studs on ruff textured walls 100% accuracy. Great for base board, stair railings.

I had almost given up on stud finders and then someone recommended this one

The leds are turning on randomly sometimes but if there is a stud the sensors will detect it

Slowly slide the stud finder across the wall until the leds light up to make sure i had the middle of the stud i would then slowly keep sliding the stud finder watching the leds closely to see when they would shift the moment they shifted or jumped to the next led i stopped and marked the middle
