Pros
Designed for sensitive skin it has a great smell and it very easy to lather. Lathers up really well with a boar hair brush. Gives a very smooth lather and a great shave, especially when used in conjunction with the proraso pre-shave cream.
Really pleased. Will definitely buy again. Less than twice the price of my old wilkinson but three times better.

Lasts an inordinately long time but needs to be useds with the pre and post shave cream for best results. Used it for the 1st time on christmas morning and was pleasantly surprised. Does the job and seems to last a lot longer than the softer creams.

Doesn't lather up as well as my taylors of old bond st.

I dont seem to be getting as good a shave with it as i did with the tabac i was using before

I have rather doggedly stuck with the same traditional soap from jermyn street for many years

Trying to cut down on packaging etc so thought i would give this is a go i bought a cheap shaving brush to use with it

If youre going to pick a proraso shaving soap then i highly recommend this one

After the first pass i noticed that it didnt leave my face feeling slick and moisturised like tobs cream and had to re apply soap to touch up on the 3rd pass i normally just add water and my face is slick enough to go over without soap just to touch up which wasnt a problem just not what i am used to
