Used them for an all house inlet water filter. Worked as expected. Quite rugged. A bit stiff though. See picture of brand new valve and see the split seal.

I have read the negatives and did not experience any of them the valve turns properly and is a slip glue on connection not threaded

I cannot believe i have used over 100 of these without one failing me and others comment they bought one and it failed
