Pros

Good sci-fi. Many seem to want to compare him to heinlein and asimov.

Lots of great banter between the characters, with humor throughout. Ending is great and the suspense throughout is immaculate. The narration was done by our main character, ryland grace.

As usual andy weirs’ book is a fantastic read. All of andy weir’s books are a must read. Andy weir is great.

Cons

This is an example of plotting over pantsing and it reads in disjointed chunks. The protagonist is clueless when it comes to kids.
