It's so so very different - taking place in a setting that only andy weir could have imagined. While it may not quite reach the heights of the martian, it still captivates with its blend of hard science fiction and engaging storytelling.

Weir's premise is unoriginal (think interstellar, which is far better) weir's dialogue is juvenile, especially given the story's high stakes. I loved the martian, this feels like an embarrassment.
