Pros

Bought these for my 3 year old niece for a demolition derby. Very comfortable lots of padding. The gel pads are very comfortable, and the bluetooth capabilities make them great for sport shooting.

The noise cancelation protects your ears, but still lets you hear the range master or instructor. Reaction time seems faster than other brand names published info. These are definitely worth every penny.

Bluetooth works very well and has no range issues. Its an indoor range and gets pretty loud. The only minor complaint i have is that the max bluetooth volume seems on the low side. Unlike the experience of some other reviewers, the amplifier is great.... Read More

Cons

The sound quality is poor and too quiet in bluetooth mode. The sound that comes through the microphone is tinny and poor quality. No bass whatsoever. Sound quality is atrocious.

They turn off sometimes without actually clicking the ambient noise dial into the “off” position, which then forces you to reconnect if you were using bluetooth. The bluetooth isn’t very loud, nor is the volume. Also the bluetooth connection drops out... Read More

For the money these works surprisingly well and are definitely worth it

These are good ear muffs for the price range

For about 10 less get the 3m worktunes and never look back

I actually paid 71 for these prohear upgraded muffs because there were two coupons that added up to 8 off

These come very competitively priced and much better quality than similar highly rated products

The akt1 and prohear seemed to have very similar noise reduction but the prohear seemed just a bit faster responding to noise

The specs all appear to be pretty similar but the prices varied quite a bit from 60 the prohear to 117 champion
