The alternative is to pop your corn in a brown paper bag it really works but im not sure thats any healthier than a hot plastic dome
The directions give a pretty wide range for the cooking time but we finally got it dialed in and the popcorn tastes great
I am a little concerned about the way the inside of the popper is starting to get chipped up from the kernels weve used it about 20 times but i havent noticed any plastic in the popcorn
