The 30 amp tester unit works like a household tester, plug it in check for green lights, remove it and put it into storage. No theft worries of circuit analyzer.
Surge protector at the pedestal and pedestal breaker. This allows the unit to be compact when plugged in and under cover of the electrical box, for both weather and theft protection.
Cons
When it fails from voltage problems it is $400 for parts and another $150 for installation. Item fails upon first power surge and is then faulty. Would not recommend.
