I will usually mount the a2 on a light stand and attached the softbox to the a2 rather than putting the softbox on the light stand and having the a2 hang from it

Rotation of the softbox on the light stand using the quick connector may work ok but you may be more inclined to just pivot your light stand

Although the clic octa is a neat new idea and quick to use it still seems a bit pricy especially once you add a grid
