I was skeptical at first due to some of the reviews saying it was hard to pull the handle and did not lock in place

I had an old made in the usa standard duty c clamp style compressor like the type you can rent from a specialty tool store and it would not even come close to compressing my 300 lb springs without creaking bending and going off center

The handle doesnt lock but bending the handle 2 to 3 inch up will fix that
