Ive been riding with the profile aero bars with the flipup arm rests for a week and they have been great
I then purchased these and noticed a hug difference in weight quality and comfort
I did my first triathlon without aero bars in july and the next three with the stryketri bars
Competitiveness
The carbon stryke bars were easy to set up lightweight and comfortable
As a triathlete i would recommend this aerobar for ones bike if youre looking for a superlite and descent price
I have two concerns with carbon stryke bars
Over all they are one of the best on the market but with a few limitations

You can slide the bars forward or back on the horizontal plane so your arms are further or less far over your front tire you can tilt them up or down the tubes rotate so the hand grips are more vertical or more horizontal and the pads can be moved further out toward the drops or closer in toward the steering post

If you lift the padding off the elbow rests the actual location on the cross piece of the steering wheel can be adjusted

I would not get the profile design forged flipup bracket kit because it rattled over bumps and kind of looks weird in the unused position

Only note of concern is it took forever for them to arrive so if you are interested in getting the bars on your bike quickly this is not the way to purchase them

One they dont mount on tapered handle bars very well and because of that its difficult to get proper placement and set up

The other concern that i have is it doesnt come with a bike computer mount

Needless to say that was a mistake because they were heavy uncomfortable and they also broke after about three rides

I emailed profile designs customer support letting them know my concerns and they replied quickly letting me know that the issues in the spring design had been addressed
