Pros

The mechanism removes a cork much easier than a standard double-hinged corkscrew opener, but the device is not perfect. I prefer using the barvivo over ones that look fancier with all these gadgets attached to them.

Cons

The de-foiling blade is not particularly sharp either. The knife is serrated and doesn't cut the foils. The foil cutter is so dull, it scrapes the foil off.

The cork screw itself is too thick, and is chromed for whatever reason. It's only a matter of time before i rip a cork out and the thing stabs me instead. The needle is so thick that destroys the cork and it only has 1 hinge level.

This is purely moronic engineering because they made the hinge literally work against you. The hinged pieces that sit on the lip of the bottle don't flex, so they're unusable.
