Pros

The light up portion is sturdy feeling. The cable and alligator clip seem to be heavy duty and the light works well. It's really useful when i just want to check a circuit and don't need exact voltage or amperage.

This item is a no-brainer and should be in everyone's arsenal. Better than the matco disappointment.

Cons

This is for rank amateurs who want to play at being electricians. Testing known hot circuits gets intermittent results. Touched it a second time and the bulb blow.
