Dont over shorten they look better 1 or 2 to long then to short you want them to blouse over the shoe

They do run a bit long but not ridiculously so that is bothers him and is able to still comfortably wear out and about with shoes without drag they just nest on top of shoe but being an all around baggy look doesn’t effect its look
