Pros
Colander is easy to clean even with oily food. The collapsible feature is just a bonus. The holes are small enough that your noodles won't go through. The plastic seems thinner than my previous one from sur la tab.

The problem i always have is the dishes that end up in the bottom of the sink during the cooking process and not wanting the colander to touch it or for the liquid to sit on the contents of the discarded dishes and the bottom of the colender

Like a plate that held raw meat being in the bottom of the sink and then straining spaghetti on it and the bottom of the strainer sits on the plate and some of the water stayed there and is now touching raw meat residue and spaghetti ive always had the bowl type of strainers

This can be used collapsed or popped down to have more room and it still barely goes half way down the sink

When you pour waterpasta it touches the drain and sometimes fills back into the pasta unless youre super slow
