These pro-tecs are worth the money if you're a casual skater but want a little bit of comfort. Excellent for my 11 yr old for skating and trick scootering. They do a great job of protecting his knees and absorbing the shock when he wrecks.
Cons
An xray and mri later i discover that i tore my pcl. Looking sterdy but very bulky and not comfortable. They unfortunately do not fit, they fit my calves like i suppose they fit other people's legs.

Extra large knee pads fit fine but the bottom velcro strap is too short and the hook n loop material is disproportionately positioned for 17 calves

So the bigger bails i’d always prefer to land on a pillow but that isn’t realistic

No pads will last forever so remember if you skate so much you burn through them quickly that can be a gratifying problem to have because it means your skating heavily and not watching netflix
