Pro tip if it feels like the base isnt sturdy enough and youre tipping it over while working youre doing it wrong

The alligator clips are just smashed by the wing nut to hold it in

Another reason youd get this is because of the alligator clips that have a finer angle when you want to create space removing switches and desoldering the contact points

So you have to put heat shrink on the alligator clip grippers or something in between the wire and the alligator clip to protect the wires insulation

Its too bad that when they stamp out the alligator clip they cant make the gripper side solid and the outer side the open edge part im not sure im describing it correctly
