Pros

By folding the patch into a smaller square the patch becomes thicker which fills the bore as expected. Will turn patches blue if used with copper solvent. I also use pro-shot patches, & they work well, too.

Worked like a charm for me. Great attachment. Received promptly. Delivers as promised.

Works great for my shotgun. Mounts securely in sectional cleaning rod for that kit. Fits precisely on the rod and within the firearm.

The jag removes a lot more dirt from the barrel than a patch. Jags with the spear tip are always the ones that i reach for. The spear tip makes it easier for me to impale the cleaning patch onto the jag, & it has a better chance of not falling off... Read More

Cons

Pro shot jag does a bad job in cleaning my cz p07 compared to the other 9mm jag. Even with heavy flannel patches, it's not up to the task in a 12 gauge bore.

Higher quality aluminum jag then i expected from amazon’s pic

The diameter is too small too wide a gap with the barrell and requires 34 patches for a snug fit

If you do not have an adapter or a shotgun rod with the larger thread buy one when you get this

The price is right and it is a key element of my gun cleaning routine after shooting

I recommend getting one of these as the price is fair it is usa made a huge plus and it cleans much better than a loop ever will

Just noticed price is now about half of what i paid
