The car seats are just as with the seat saver as without it
We chose leather because we didnt want to deal with the susceptibility of cloth to staining
Its a bit wide though so it might interfere with the seat belts next to it especially if youre using the middle seat

The only thing is it not well attached kids my pull the pad when trying to getting to the car because the long edge out side you have to adjust it every several days

I imaging it would work better with front facing because sometimes it starts to fold down when i put the car seat in the base

These were more frustrating to install than i thought they would be you really need two people because they come folded and wont relax once removed from the packaging so to get them onto the seat and then set the carseat on top of them is a bit tricky

It would get dents in it from the seat being strapped in so tightly but it didnt put one dentin my leather seats which i was so grateful for
