Two problems for my use firstly its actually very soft which makes it difficult for things like handstands as the hands sink in to it

More protection than a smaller 2 inch mat we already have

My second gymnastics mat and not as good as the first which was cheaper larger and better

I recommend this mat good quality mat which folds for easy storage
