Pros

The new door handle looks great on my sunroom door. It seems sturdy and functional. Things i never thought i would have to fix, seem to be needing to be fixed, like my screen door handle.

Easily installed, and perfect fit for 30+ yr old storm/screen door. Works great on the other screen door.

Cons

Disappointed in the lack of help for such an inexpensive item. Totally worthless. Was also a pain to install.

The mechanism is poorly designed and the main shaft, the heart of the whole mechanism is made of flimsy plastic. The pin that pushes the inside latch open when you press the outside latch is flimsy, bendable plastic.

The shaft is the thickness of a small screw, why plastic? The button and plunger stick are made of plastic. Part of the handle replacement is plastic or cheap, soft metal. The spindle is plastic. The latch itself is a heavy metal, but the button parts... Read More
