An additional ushaped metal piece acting as a track was drilled above the screen the fuzzy velcro side glued into the track before inserting the screen made sure the bugs couldn’t get in past the metal piece

Someone else will have a different situation and they’ll have to use their imagination to fill the gap if the windscreen doesn’t quite fit the window

Also secured both sides with both sides of velcro to the outer edges while the top and bottom were free
