The lock comes with carriage bolts that require you to drill through the garage door. Comes with 4 carriage bolts and nuts. Purchasing paint or red liquid rubber now escalates the price.
Cons
It will keep trying to open the garage if you or someone forgets to unlatch it prior to opening the door. The entire unit was ripped out of the wall and was going to fall on my suv. Should have just bought a lock at the hardware store and saved myself... Read More

Really easy to install and works well
The steel is thick and the spring is good making for a quality product
If you only use a single lock on a door the other side of the door can still be forced upwards something i wanted to completely prevent
Im not looking forward to the day when someone inevitable pushes the button without unlocking this thing first

Sturdy works well but had to buy screws as the bolts that came with the lock wouldnt work for me
