Pros
Sturdy hess set with handy draughts set with it. Draught piece are a little smaller than usual too. Nice colour too. Wants something to hold the draught in place when board is opened.
Cons
The felt underneath the pieces is either poorly placed or peeling already. Another downfall is lack of thought that has gone into the storage of the pieces you are not currently playing with.
Quality control doesn't exist with whoever manufactured this set. It feels cheap and flimsy and definitely not 'hand crafted' made in china with hinge on box and inner fabric folding hinges.
I hope the seller take the suggestions on board and prosper. Shop around before seeing the 'best seller' tag. Return and refund.

Overall it is a good piece of kit but for the price i didnt expect to see gaps in the coloured inlays with the writing on

Im sure that would be the sort of things that are picked up in quality assurance and sent back but maybe this company are not focused on qa

Unfortunately the black king arrived with a loose disconnected crown and the black knight’s mane also could be finished better

Some of the pieces were not fully varnished and the board is not totally straight but doesn’t affect the game
