Pros & Cons
Pros
It prints very well with good bed adhesion and when printing with proper pc settings. I suspect a lot of people who are complaining about weak parts or bad layer adhesion have their cooling fans turned on.
It has a really lovely dull shine, and the carbon fiber particles give it a unique texture that totally hides the layer lines. It's pricey, but the results are incredible. Overall it seems pretty good pretty solid!
Cfpc is my new go-to, best all around filament. It prints very well at 260-280 degrees. There is also a gage on the spool telling me how much i’ve got left…really nice touch and i wish other filaments had that.
Ender 3 pro, mostly stock, with a micro swiss direct drive all metal hot end. I use it to make parts for my cnc machines and stuff because it is stronger than regular pla. Steel/hardened steel nozzles are a must.
Removing supports is nightmarish, so use them wisely. It also sticks very well to pei.
Cons
The only good thing about this filament is it prints nice. This is 100% a filament issue as i switched spools mid print. It seems it was under extruding due to a variance in the filament diameter. I spend an hour pushing and pulling and finally get th... Read More
The matte finish is kind of a nice look, but if you are only after a matte black petg, there are much less expensive options. I have cf nylons and they look about the same. Very little stringing for petg.
Material was dried the night before with an oven and desiccant. From the factory it comes wet, and you can tell because of the bubbling artifacts. While the compressive strength is unparalleled, the layer adhesion is terrible!
