Pros & Cons
Pros
The colors are super bright & the pages are thick. I really like how this book has pages that can be easily torn out versus needing to be cut out against the inside edge of the book. Is recommend this book to anyone.
Cons
The only shapes to cut are squares/rectangles. The scissors only crimp the paper, even while i was using them. The layout is cumbersome and difficult for first-timers to using scissors.
But for a 5 year old it's a little boring. Way too difficult for my newly turned 3-year old.

My fouryearold did a really great job maneuvering the scissors but we ended up having to buy some at the store that were more kid friendly the blades on the plastic ones dulled out before we got halfway through the book

Also i felt some material was too advanced to be prek so it made it even less things she could do

The cutting is all basic short cuts but my toddler actually wanted at times to cut very carefully around the pieces even when she didnt need to

The parent just cuts the relevant pieces out from sheets in the back of the book helps the child understand the specific task for that activity and then the child should be able to cut and paste for the most part on their own
