Pros
Bought these to use with natural ethylene gas absorbent eco granules. It has a hook to go over the edge of a mug and it makes tea nicely. Keeps the herbs and flower scent from getting in the water and sticking to the bottom of the kettle.
These things are by their nature a little delicate. It is easy to clean off under the faucet (i don't put it in the dishwasher) doesn't 'leak' the tea into the water.
Cons
The clasp is loose and the rim doesn't seal up well. Too much loose tea comes out. Too small to be of any use with whole leaf teas.

Ive kept care of it by drying it quickly after washing but thats still an impressive but cheap product
However she seems happy with it so i guess that a win for the maker of this thing

If the rim or hinge piece get bent they are going to leak leaves
