My previous grinding tools included a coffee grinder messy imprecise inconvenient a mortar pestle easy to clean fast but effectiveness varies dramatically by spice and a spare pepper grinder hard to clean wasteful

It doesnt fit tightly enough and easily falls off if you tip the grinder too far potentially spilling the contents of the top chamber

That being said the fact that it basically requires a funnel to pour peppercorns in is annoying
