Also the grey piece on the bottom is for the very last part of the apple that i would normally have to push the apple through

The item wasnt finished the best and quality control in china hasnt been known to be amazing so its not surprising they missed all the plastic burrs in their finishing process

If you look at my pics youll see where i circled there are little pieces of the red plastic just hanging off

Well that and sometimes tiny pieces of apples get stuck in between the pieces of metal where the center ring meets the blades

It folds all the way out to the side and if the counter youre working on doesnt have room for the extra little 4 inch diameter base
