Pros & Cons

Pros

This powdered sugar container holds a full 2 lb. In my opinion, this is easier and more sanitary. The lid seems ok. It is snuggly affixed to the lid.

Brown sugar stays super soft in the airtight container. When i use brown sugar, i get them both out and soak the clay disk in water for 15 minutes. My brown sugar stays loose & ready for use!

The terra cotta disk is the magic touch, for sure. Comes with the terracotta disk, which is reusable.

Cons

These containers are not very durable. They are very flimsy and break easily. Spend the extra 2 cents for a better quality disc for heavens sake. Product is well made, but it is too small to fairly call a flour keeper.
