This is for our spare bedroom, so nothing has been spilled on it so i can't confirm it is waterproof. My jack russel sleeps in be with me and last night she had a bad accident. This cover is soft and sleeps very well.

Cons

Very cheap quality. Not worth purchasing. Not 100% waterproof. Installation instructions are misleading. The product is flawed.

The zipper opening is simply too small. The general cheapness of this cover doesn't inspire to bother. Almost unusable zippers.
